The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it can be alarmed concerning the large quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area regularly. The company point designed for intervention encounters a superior influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it SRD complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to help the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
